The following steps will show how to create Kid Profile in MikroTik RouterOS 7.

  • From Winbox, go to IP > Kid Control menu item. Kid Control window will appear.
  • Click on Kids tab and then click on PLUS SIGN (+). New Kid window will appear.
  • Put the Kid Profile name (such as: Bob Profile) in Name input field.
  • Now put the time range for each day of the week when the Kid or the desired person will be allowed to get internet access.
  • We can assign bandwidth for the profile in Rate Limit input field.
  • It is also possible to assign unlimited bandwidth for the profile at any day of a week in Unlimited Rate input field. If we assign unlimited bandwidth time here, the Rate Limit value will be overridden.
